I'm not yet going to post my immediate thoughts (see below), but they weren't any of the OP's cities (for either category...)
For what it's worth, there are nice colorful maps with red, blue, green, etc. colored dots that show demographics of cities so we don't really have to speculate too, too much.
The problems tend to be in cities where the porch monkeys get too uppity.
LA, Memphis, Detroit, Baltimore come to mind.
I would bet my next paycheck that you wouldn't have the balls to say something like that in person. It's a good thing too because who knows what might happen to you.
What do you think are the best and worst cities where people of different races willingly integrate outside of work/school such as: friendships, hanging out, interracial relationships, etc.? I can give my picks, although I've only lived in a few u.s. cities:
Best:
1. San Diego, CA
2. Columbus, OH
3. Berkeley, CA
Worst:
1. Seattle, WA
2. San Francisco, CA (to a lesser extent) 3. Houston, TX (the inner city, not the suburbs)
You kidding me? Houston is one of the most integrated city in the US.
And apart from one or two burbs the city itself is much more integrated than the burbs.
I think you owe an apology to the mother in this story, her young black child shot in cold blood by some Mexican gangbanger.
LA is the OPPOSITE of integrated. In fact, in the real world, I get the impression its worse than Chicago or Detroit.
The West Coast HATES Black people, which is why Blacks have been fleeing California
It's the truth. And as a Black man, it makes me sick.
He owes an appologies just because he thinks the West Coast is integrated?
Ive lived in LA and Chicago and LA is much, much more integrated than Chicago.
