Unless you're living around toxic waste, your health largely depends on your own personal lifestyle choices, and genetics.
Your own personal happiness also depends largely on your own character and your individual situation. That being said, if rain depresses you, don't live in Seattle. If wind bothers you, don't live in SF or VA Beach. If long winters depress you, don't live in Alaska or Minnesota. If heat oppresses you, don't live in Austin or Miami.
I don't care if everyone around you is eating fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy and three biscuits. You can still eat the baked chicken and some broccoli. It's up to each of us to create and maintain our own health and happiness, wherever we are.
