I want to make this clear right away. Thid is not a thread asking which one
of these cities is the best in general. I want to know which one is best for
someone from a small town who never been to a big city
I'm from Las cruces,NM and I've been thinking of both cities. Chicago seemed
to be the best but I know people who moved to New York and were able
to live well. I want to emphasize I've never been to a big city.

The correct answer, based your input is neither. Both will be very overwhelming to a person who has never been to a big city, let alone two of the biggest in the U.S.

Im sorry but this question is retarded.

Its like asking "im from Sarasota, FL and would like to know who is colder in winter? Minneapolis or Buffalo?"

Honestly. Come on, dude. Theyre both gigantic cities, and its as good as you get as far as big cities go.

Chicago since it's smaller, less people, less tourists, less things to see/do.
However it's still quit a big city.
