Caveat - if I could live anywhere, that must also include anywhere in the town of my choosing, yes? That makes a difference.

I'm not sure I could narrow it down:

Mill Valley or Sausalito, CA on the water (Marin County)
Marblehead, MA (or somewhere similar in CT)
NYC
Boulder, CO

If I could just leave it would be anywhere away from the midwest and onto the coasts. Seattle / Puget Sound area, Santa Cruz, California or coastal Massachusetts (maybe Boston) as some top picks.

An old apartment building in Streetville (Chicago), on Deleware Place or Walton Place.

Love where I am, but I always thought Santa Barbara would be lovely.

A block or two uphill from my current location, in a slightly larger place with a yard and a better view.

I like right where I am, although if I could afford to move a few miles to a lakefront property that would be even better of course.

Me too. Not too hot, not too cold, just right.

The Point Reyes Station/ Inverness area of northern California would also be a top choice for me.
I'd love to have this view out my back deck.

Yes, that is a nice view.
I would pick Monteria Estates, Chatsworth, California (photo below) or Hidden Hills, California.
