From what I have seen it has Nothside, Southside and Northwest neighborhoods in it and no downtown. It really makes people like drro and Broadrippleguy look foolish. Talk about putting you tail between your legs!

Yeah Chicago is nothing but one big ghetto outside of downtowwn, lol.
Well, in defense of broadnipple, he's a child who lives with his parents in South Bend.

I'm sure there will be few decent looking buildings outside of downtown but it doesn't change my observation that it it the most run down city I have ever seen. Most of Chicago hasn't seen any paint or maintenance during the past century. There are other ugly places in the US that I have visited like Newark, parts of NYC, Dallas and LA but Chicago beats them all.

If you think Chicago would be world class without the CME well in 10-20 years well see about that

Also nice attempt at getting me fired up cause you would rather live in Detroit than Indianapolis.
Makes it so obivious that your trying to intagonize me.
Next time dont make it so obivious lol.
This coming from the guy who CONSTANTLY bashes Chicago threads. You're not getting "fired up" but yet you keep responding just so you can have the last word.

Clearly you are just being ridiculous, unless you think anyone is stupid enough to believe you've actually seen every square block of Chicago and can make such a statement. Of course, Chicago hasn't built any new buildings or skyscrapers or freeways or train lines or houses since 1912...or my building I live in that was built in 2008...or my train station that was just remodeled, or the one south of that, which had been remodeled recently, or the one north of that, which is currently being remodeled...or my bus stop that was redone last year. I guess I'm just imaging that all...and all those new tollways...oh and those new trains I've seen on three different el lines.

Your opinion is just that, but let's try not to flat out lie, okay?

I am happy to hear your bus stop was redone last year. I am sure that makes Chicago a much better place to live.

Still, I haven't seen as much urban decay in any other city as Chicago. And trying to convince me otherwise from what I have seen personally is pointless.

I am not trying to convince you otherwise, I'm just pointing out a flat-out lie; i.e. "Most of Chicago hasn't seen any paint or maintenance during the past century."
