In my county of 140,000 people, the newspaper's leading story (main front page headline) in 2009, was about a Judge (with 30 years service) who was caught on camera, deflating the tires of a Court house cleaning woman's car which was parked in his private space there. Several more news stories and editorial letters about the incident, followed in later editions of the paper.
And I thought the TV news here in Savannah was bad!
BTW -- This goes a LONG way in proving that people up north are just as dumb as the stereotype about people down south. Stupid is stupid! This is Rochester NY? LOL!
The popeyes story is pretty hilarious. The lady in the beginning had me laughing too hard. She's really getting that upset over some chicken smh. Smash and grabs at beauty supply stores have been going on here in ATL for probably about a year, but I'm not sure why, but its almost comedic that people are going in and stealing weave out of beauty supply stores.
