I just recently turned 19 and im going to be well off money-wise, 700 + a week.. And Im going to college soon, but after college i'd love to move out of state, after having a lot of money saved up and feeling a bit more likely to be on my own in the "real" world, I've lived @ home, but my parents honestly don't live here, its a weird situation.. but my point is I've basically been on my own since I was 15, but not completely, the only thing is I never paid the bills, which is normal for a 15-18 year old. Basically family lives in NY, and I want to find the best place to live where I can pay reasonable rent (apartment) and live in a safe/relaxing area. I've looked into Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Denver, Manhattan & the rest of NYC. I'll keep checkin back for responses, thanks a lot.

Quit bumpin'. I recommend Denver as $700 a week is not a lot in NYC or California (I think). Denver is a nice little city with some stuff going on and I think there are a few colleges so there will definitely be people in your age group.
