I am an international student 24 year old studying in the states . I would love to know the best spots for 2012? seems many of the good spots have become what you Americans call a sausage fest. So far i have Montreal in mind( which i know is not a super spring break location). Do you guys have any ideas?

LOL. I have heard South Padre Island gets pretty crazy, but have no idea about the ratio of men to women.
I'll second Panama City Beach. It's now the premiere Spring Break destination and where MTV broadcasts with top talent performing. Check out Club La Vela which is the club for the big name acts.
