I was born and raised in the Midwest. Perhaps I'm biased. However, some of the BEST music/ musicians ever, came from the Midwest. Most were clustered in Ohio. Ohio had to be the funkiest place on Earth during the 80s. Minneapolis was quite funky also. The walk vs Body Talk. Baggies vs blue jeans. Those were the days!
