What are the top cities to attend St Patrick's Day festivities?

My first reaction is:

New York
Boston
Chicago
Cleveland
Philadelphia

I've also heard Savannah, GA puts on a great city celebration.

Any others?

NYC, Boston, Chicago, & Savannah are the best, in no order really.

NYC just because of sheer volume. The main Manhattan parade, Hoboken, Rockaway, Pearl River, McLean Ave/Yonkers, etc.

I would love to see Savannah this time of year. Philadelphia loses a few points for always having it's parade the Sunday before the holiday but there are no shortage of other St. Patrick's Day related events, concerts and celebrations throughout the Month. Definitely top 5 along with Boston and Chicago.

Is the Hartford one any good? I'm working nearby this weekend and may check it out if it's worthwhile.

Cleveland has gotta be top 5 in attendence. Last year we had 500K Downtown:

Do some quick googling. By attendence, it looks like:

New York -- 2 million
Boston -- 600K
Chicago --300K - 850K (can someone check the Chicago numbers?)
Cleveland -- 500K
Philadelphia -- 500K
Savannah, GA -- 400K - 750K

Hoboken, NJ is a smaller city but it also has great St. Pats festivities.
