The poster in question also complained and was freaked out by the about the amount of minorities in Dallas. He started an entire thread about it in the Texas forum.

I cant say I can take them seriously when you can blanket an entire ethnic group under one pretense.

Well, coming from a state like Connecticut, which is 75% white, it was a shocker to visit Dallas, which was only 50% white. Not something I was used to. That's all.

Are you scared of color?

Common, you can't live that close to NYC and then be shocked by anywhere else.

Not everyone is comfortable around people different from themselves....in fact, I'd say it's the norm in this country (except for people on this board, obviously).

What do you think?
You can take Houston off the list since there is no planning per se, things just pop up randomly & at will in this city with no zoning laws.

Its what gives Houston its quirky vibe.

Is it cause of the smell? Did the smelly latinos offend your pure, unblemished nose?

Don't put words in my mouth. He was shocked by the variety of people in Dallas and I asked how can he be living so close to NYC. I did not go anywhere his insecurities, don't say that I did.
