I can see where the OP wants to be in a culture that shares her values. I don't pick up on her being naive enough to think everyone will.

Yeah I think you're gonna have to give up on this one unless you're willing to live in a town of like 500 people. The world is a sexual place, and that's all there is to it.

I have traveled quite a bit around the US, and I really enjoyed the year I spent in Fargo, ND. ND in general is a politically conservative state. Being more on the religious side, the people are also sexually conservative (generally speaking). While you are looking for a more politically liberal city, on the plus side I found the people in Fargo to be very nice and welcoming! It is a city of 200,000 people. So not large by any means. But probably an option that you weren't considering.

I was under the impression that the OP was interested in a monogamous relationship

Strip clubs don't actually mean a lot. The courts have ruled them freedom of expression and community standards can not be applied to keep them out. Just because there are strip clubs and enough customers for a strip club, it does not mean that the community loves to have them around.

OP, nobody is going to tattoo a big "P" for "prude" on your forehead. There are responsible people in every community. hang out with those people instead of the few who hang out at strip clubs every night of the week.

You will find the men you are looking for and the men you despise in every single city in the country.

Youre trying to define something geographically that cannot be defined. No one city is all or even mostly what youre looking for.

Seattle has a reputation for being sexually repressed but politically progressive.

Duh.
But some cities are espexcially sexually 'libearated'/OUT THERE, hmm like Vegas, New Orleans, and Portland. From my recent research and talking to people from Portland, it sounds like everyone there can concede that if you do not want your partner going to a strip club to ogle at women, you will be called a controlling, naive prude. Well, that's what I was called on the forum when I stated my opinions and asked them how people are there regarding sexual conservatism or lack of it.

I am perfectly ok with porn, because there's no real sexual interaction going on there, but I draw the line at my boyfriend paying other women to take their clothes off for him. Or cheating, open relationships, threesomes etc.

Sounds to me like you have a boyfriend problem - not a "where to live" one. You might try the relationship forum for better advice.
