What is your point? Your argument is the equivalent of a blog writer stating Europe has poor Mexican food. And then Europeans getting all up in arms because of the distance. We all know the distance issue between the USA and overseas and how that contributes to not traveling but it doesn't change the outcome: ignorant general public. Even in San Diego I've encountered many people that have never stepped foot in Mexico. It's mind boggling. When you are brainwashed bs like "greatest nation" people don't see the need in leaving their little bubble
Yes. When you don't respect or even acknowledge the world outside the island it's much easier to "let's bomb them". Then the general public is outraged when 3 people die from a domestic bomber. It's pure comedy
Wow. Your powers of reasoning (rather, the lack therof) are amazing.
Here is your typical American wannabe with small country complex. I bet he drives a

Hey! I drive Hondaaaa!
Anyway, what's your problem? Are somehow my experiences and points of view less valid than those of some whinging ginge minge?

I'm far from convinced that most Europeans do that, particularly in these times of financial calamity. Many Europeans travel to a neighbouring country in the summer - and then typically ***** and complain about every minor inconvenience and cultural difference. But that's okay, because the locals ***** and complain just as much about the tourists, and since they (in general and with some embarrassing exceptions) don't understand each other's languages, everyone's happily oblivious of the more or less friendly ridicule they direct at each other.
Most criticisms of the U.S. by non-Americans are motivated by jealousy, pure and simple.
Right, no way they might just be critical of the 300 year old baby nation. USA has much maturing to do, they still preach about their forefathers. Example guns debate but ignore slavery

I'm a proud American (been here 16 generations) but honestly I think a lot of criticisms are spot on... about half of them anyway. I agree with points 7,8,9, 15, 16, and 17.
LOL at the 300 year old baby nation comment... you mean the ONLY remaining superpower in the World? That "baby nation?" The one that is a superpower all on it's own, while the entire EU cannot achieve that status collectively? For being a baby, I'd say the US is doing quite well for itself on the World stage whether you like it or not.
Debate guns and ignore slavery... could it possibly be because the gun issue is still happening right NOW, and the slavery issue was settled 140+ years ago? I_L, you are grasping at straws now to come up with insults against the Country that is housing, feeding, and educating you.
By the way, for most Europeans, they can travel to another country in a matter of a few hours. Heck, I drove thru four European countries in one day a couple of years ago - at a leisurely pace (Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany).
So - sorry but I'm not overly impressed by that fact. It would take me three days of driving to get to Canada, and a whole day of driving to get to Mexico - and I live in a state that borders Mexico!
Hmm, I was in Buffalo a few weeks back and by your logic: Heck, I drove thru two North American countries (Canada, USA) at a leisurely pace. Very leisurely actually, I still haven't gotten used to the speed limits up here.
