It seems that most large cities in America were incorporated before 1900.

Yep, Vegas is the biggest. Anchorage AK is pretty big at about 300K. Fremont CA (suburb of San Fran & Oakland) was established in 1956 and has about 200K.

There's probably quite a few suburbs in CA, FL and TX that are 80K plus that have been established in the past 80 years.

As an aside, Miami was established in 1896 I believe.

Vegas was incorporated in 1905, so that would be my guess.

There are some more places that could be on that list, except that they are not yet incorporated, even to this day, like Paradise, Nevada, with 245,000.

That's in Sporcle, which lists six Census Designated Places over 100,000, and appears to be an outdated census:

Honolulu HI 371,657
Paradise NV 186,070
Sunrise Manor NV 156,120
Metairie LA 146,136
East Los Angeles CA 124,283
Spring Valley NV 117,390

Many places in Florida that didn't make this list and on or south of the I-4 corridor were incorporated in the 1890's.
