The entire Northeast.

A lot of crime goes underreported in Kensington anyway. People would go down Kensington and shoot at junkies for target practice or test out exotic drugs on them and watch their reaction. This of course didn't make the news and people think i'm making it up. Talk to anyone connected with the streets down there and they will verify what I said. A whole lot of unreported mess goes down there because the city doesn't care nor do the police (for the most part)

Come to think of it... America itself is becoming a white ghetto everywhere.. half the country is white kids subscribing to "ghetto culture". Portland would be one of the cases for the modern white ghetto.

Spokane, Washington. 80% White and the worst place I have ever lived, and not surprisingly one of the highest crime rates of any midsize city.

The title of the thread is highest crimes, not highest homicide rate.

Homicide rate is generally the best proxy for overall crime, due to the number of crimes (both violent and nonviolent) that are not reported to police.

Agree here, if we have to use the single most reliable variable to gauge the conditions of that specific community, homicide rate is the way to go.

I want to throw in College Towns. Lots of underage drinking which is a crime. Drugs, and sexual assaults are not unheard of. And of course a large white population.

I slightly disagree. Some cities don't have a high level of gun violence but very high in things like Aggravated assault (stabbings/muggings) and rape. This is common in New England. (More so 10 years ago than now, but still..) Many high crim cities like New Bedford and Fall River (more so pre-2015 when they were higher than they are today) don't have a ton of homicides.

But yall Portland recorded 90 homicides in 2021 that's a significant number for Portland's size. Especially given its 70% white.
