Who doesn't envy those people who can afford to own a luxury condo in the Upper East Side of Manhattan?
That's what you call living on top of the world. Sheesh.
Count me as another who does not envy such things, ughhh.
The only thing I envy is lack of easy access to nice sand beaches, but it's not worth giving up what I do have in order to get that.
Being in Nebraska, I envy the folks back home in VA that have the mountains and the ocean all within easy access. Here we've got corn and cows eight hours in either direction!
As a Floridian I envy states where farmers markets consist of farmers selling food they produce versus our flea markets which are inexplicably called farmers markets where more often than not there aren't any real farmers (some guy might show up with some produce he bought at the produce distribution center). I miss creative independent restaurants with great food in lieu of chain restaurant-o-rama. I miss a generally well-educated populace with varied interests versus well, you know...Flori-duh. But I can wear short sleeve shirts, shorts and flip flops 11 months out of 12!
As an NYer, I envy people in Western cities such as Denver, Seattle, and Los Angeles for the access to incredible outdoor recreation. I also envy Chicago for being insanely clean for such a large city.
ditto. At least Milwaukee has lake michigan and trees, higher population, paved roads, more state parks and natural areas.
Out here it's just farmland, with a few state parks here and there but it's a 30-60 mile drive to get to them or any other city for that matter.
