No. It doens't even make up half of the cost of roads.

I would really like high-speed rail in certain locations. That said, it would also be great if the rail networks could be linked. I would love to be able to jump on a train here in Arlington, Virginia (with my SmarTrip), go to Union Station, get on a regional rail that would take me to Philadelphia (preferably not Amtrak), and exit with my same card. It would be even better if there was a high-speed train doing that run, but I'll settle for an integrated system.
