How old is your child?
Are all 3 of you planning to share one bedroom forever? Eventually I would think your child would need his/her own bedroom … something to think about.
I think Atlanta would be a great option given the climate, higher Muslim population (6th largest in the US), relatively good transit system and cost of living. Specifically you might check out the suburb of Norcross which has three mosques and many Muslim-owned businesses. You should also easily have plenty of a budget for a proper two bedroom apartment, versus a cramped one bedroom. https://www.apartments.com/min-2-bed...050iju_Hlu-qmO
Sacramento seems OK but the cost of living will be pretty high.
