I'm in Montana
Idaho - Crazy survivalist cousin who has a conspiracy theory that Uncle Sam is out to get him.
Wyoming - Bi-polar uncle. Can be classy and the star of the show one day and 'barely there' the next.
South Dakota - Little brother that we used to have a lot in common but has now found his own path. Similar, yet different.
North Dakota - Way older brother. Forgot about him when he went away for a long time but is now back and is WILD. He's really into his tough guy image. He frequents the red light district on a regular basis.
Alberta - Cool big sister. A little bit country, a little bit cosmopolitan. Drives fast.
British Columbia - Hippy cousin. Always fun to go visit but he doesn't live in reality.
Saskatchewan - Little step brother that we don't know very well because he lives with his mom and rarely comes to visit. When he does, we talk hockey or ranching because that's all we know about each other.

Pennsylvania: The whiny, resentful youngest child who thinks everyone else in the family gets more attention than he does, even though he knows deep down that they've done more to deserve it.

According to a 2006 Homeland Security report, your "morbidly obese lecturing Texas uncle" took in 400,000 Hurricane Katrina evacuees from New Orleans who initially sought refuge in Texas seeking food, shelter and medical care. So, maybe you should rethink the ungrateful name calling... and I'm not even from Texas.

Hey man, we're just taking it easy after last weekend's beer fest, and getting some rest before next weekend's two separate beer fests...

Yes, and we were all made to understand that a Texan's graciousness is a gift from God, not simply the actions of people helping out their neighbors.
I guess Tennessee is Texas' ex-wife.

Lighten up, this is an imagitive and humorous thread where any state is fair game and not for serious Sallys. If you can't appreciate that or you're that easily offended then clearly this thread is not for you.

California: The uncle who has everything and likes to rub it in. However, he still can't seem to manage his finances properly.
Nevada: The distant uncle who is just there. He doesn't cause any problems. However he can throw some killer parties.
Utah: The cousins with the huge family. They have the picture perfect suburbia lifestyle of minivans and soccer practice.
New Mexico: Like Nevada. Minus the parties. No one talks about New Mexico, or even visits. NM might be pretty lonely.
Colorado: Our stoner neighbor. Not really related to us because we're too different. However, the mountains are shweet.
