California's overrated on the good looking babe department , the reason why we have some good looking people is because people move here from other parts of the country for the movie industry otherwise its just it little a bit above average at best because minority of young people that are into fitness. The tv portrays everyone California as Blonde or White and Hot . But most chicks/dudes in California are Latino/Latina throw in with few Asians and some Persians, Blacks/African Americans and a few Whites which some are good looking some are not.

-How can New York have the best and worst fans?
-Iowa doesn't have terrible scenery...actually it is very underrated. With New York, Michigan, Idaho, and Arizona also considered to have terrible scenery I'm speechless.

Overall I think it is a fairly dumb study/list.

Yes and no. There are regional differences.

Life's too short to live in a "red" state.

What are you saying? Latina/ Asians/ Blacks/ Persians are not hot? i've seen plenty of hot women in every group. Hot women come in all colors, shapes & sizes.

Westlake Village where you live is predominately white neighborhood, wonder bread white & blond. I know because I used to live there. Drive 35 miles east to Santa Monica, West LA, to see & ooggle some diversity!

They're pretty overstated. There are good, bad, boring, interesting people everywhere. Most people's identities don't revolve around arbitrary lines on a map.

Agreed. They are fairly minuscule in the US against our similarities.

For example people are often speaking of the crosses and Jesus based billboards and signs along highways and roads in the south. You can find nearly as many throughout upstate NY.

That article simply confirms that Americans are as ignorant and susceptible to stereotypes of their own country as they are of the rest of the world. Sad, really.
