I can enjoy any of these temperatures in the right setting. If I'm at the pool then 100 degrees does not bother me, but in most activities its horrid. If I'm ice skating, 0 would probably not bother me but I certainly wouldn't wanna have to walk home in that weather. If I have to walk 15+ minutes to get somewhere I'd rather it be under 75. I like my weather to be seasonal. No heat in winter, no cold in summer.
It is cool to experience the novelty of extremes, which is why the Midwest's climate appeals to me. I don't mind a handful of scorchers and a handful of snot-freezers, but lets not have them all season long!
I have noticed a lot of people have different opinions of type of temperature they consider perfect, hot, very hot, cold or too cold. Like in Texas there a few people who says they love the 100 degree weather!
What do you guys consider as having perfect temperature vs hot, very hot, cold, etc?
Here what I consider my temperature ranges:
Very Hot: 95F+ degrees Hot: 82F to 94F Degrees Perfect: 63F to 81F Cold: 32F to 62F Very Cold: Below 32F (below freezing!)

Dadgummit, it's cold out here: 30-40
OK, time for tea and a fire: 20-30
It's too darn cold - I hope I remembered to wrap the pipes outside: 15-20
