But for some reason people like to forget there are also many Souths. Deep or South Central, Southeast, MidAtlantic and Border South that's often used.

It depends on what you mean by "culture". the Northeast still has stronger ties to Europe from what I've seen.

Domestic culture, culture in the sociological sense within a country.

What diversity? I lived there and I never saw it. That city is about as black-and-white as it gets, more black than anything else.

Yeah, but isn't there the Creole thing, the French, the Caribbean, the Spanish influences, the Anglo, etc, etc. Among black don't they have a Caribbean component like South Florida with Haitians, etc?

French and Spanish cultures blended into Anglo, and so on. Plus there were significant cultures from Southern Europe etc? I was speaking in the formation of the city's character. How many other cities in the US have a French Quarter?

I see. I thought you meant diverse with many different ethnic groups living there today. Historically, yes, it was a diverse city. Doesn't seem like that's the case so much anymore. It still has a unique culture, for sure, but I wouldn't call it diverse.

Strange how people think the 'north' has no culture, because from my experience it has the most, same with the 'east'

I'd say the Northeast has a very strong culture, though ultimately it may not be the strongEST.
