Any city looks good in fresh snow. Its when it gets to sit and fester and get slushy with out another layer of fresh snow when it just looks really ugly. This to me is chicago during the month of feb.

New York. There's nothing more magical than seeing New York with a foot of snow on the ground.

That is until people start getting out and walking in it. Then it turns to a dark brown slush that makes you want to gag. Or people and dogs and cats will start going to the bathroom in the snow, and that'll ruin everything magical about it.
