I remember meeting a Brit and he was saying how friendly and talkative people in Portland and Seattle were. I thought that was kind of funny considering we have a reputation for being quiet and keeping to ourselves in the United States, compared to say the South or Midwest.
Would Pacific Northwesterners seem as chipper to Brits, Aussies, Canadians etc as Southerners do to them?
