Pretty impressive. Trying to name the subnational provinces or states of another country generally doesn't go well and some of these are pretty close to getting all of them. Just going up north to our neighbor Canada withs its provinces or south to our neighbor Mexico with its states would stump most people here.

Aren't American states more popular and well known compared to Germany states French and Canadian provinces and Russian oblasts?

I'm sure they'd do pretty good, probably just mess up on the New England and Mountain west states unless the live in those regions

All but one seemed to understand CA, FL. Surprisingly many missed New York which I would have thought everyone would recognize.

I can do them all though I get into trouble sometimes on Nebraska and Iowa and interchange the inland south.

I was able at one point to do all of western Europe other than the principalities. Not sure I could today.

Yes they are ! Thanks mostly to American films and TV shows. Most people a bit aware of the American culture could point the main states like California, Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, Louisiana, and so on.. But ask some random people about Washington, and 99% of the people would get it wrong.

Yea Washington state gets confused with DC a lot with outsiders.

If you even search Washington on Google Maps it takes you to DC

This one is actually pretty impressive.

Glad they did this, helps show that the stereotype that we're so ignorant about World Geography is just a bunch of crap.
