Ok so I'm a 24 yr old young woman & I'm trying to find a nice place to start over with a fresh start. I've lived in Chicago since birth.. I want some new scenery & I wanna see new things. I'm more of a old souls and I'm very mellow... I love the peace and quiet but I also like to go to the club from time to time.

Are you looking to live within a city or its suburbs? Walkability? Culture/diversity? Outdoor activities?

Hello Netty,

I had the same Wanderlust at one point, but even the cold can't keep me from sweet home Chicago...

If you are looking for a way out from the cold, I would be generally pro-southeast, and not pro-west/southwest. The clubs in SF and Pac-NW are to say the very least, lame. You might get an awesome DJ in town from time to time, but most of the places close at 2, but are desolate at midnight. People just don't seem to stay out as late as they do here in Chicago.

Can you get into more detail on what you like?

Do you have public transportation requirements?

Are you planning on doing more school? Did you get a college degree somewhere?

Any additional information will help people guide you to new and interesting places.

Keep in mind, if you grew up here, certain places will be to say the least, culture-shock. Unless it's one of the bigger or east-coast cities.

I plan on going back to school I have a car. I'm more of a loner, I like to be around people but I can do without a social life. I don't really like noise but I love reading, bowling from time to time & I like to skate.
