Its Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday this month. Many cities have celebrated him by naming streets after him. What cities have not and why?Do they plan to?

From what I found.I believe a few of these following cities do not have his namesake"
Denver
Oklahoma City
Kansas City
Nashville

If I am wrong please let me know.

Minneapolis doesn't, even though it's about 20% black.

That is probably because St. Paul already does. It's called Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, or Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

I know, and it's like 500 feet long and nobody lives on that street.

In at least one case, it appears to set a new record for the longest street name in the country. Googling, I fouund a site that claims Northeast Kentucky Industrial Parkway is the longest street name. But Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is longer, if the abbreviated words are spelled out to total 45 letters. Even using the abbreviations, it is 41 characters counting spaces and periods.

Lucky they didn't go with "The Late Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Memorial Boulevard North-West"..

I don't think Philadelphia has an MLK Drive/Blvd/Ave. If there is one, its not a major street. However, I might have to check and verify.
