Honorable mention goes to Jacksonville. Great weather, beaches, location, etc. Very underrated.
Good list - I second this motion! But I'd substitute Seattle in place of San Diego.

I'd say Seattle is one of the best. CenturyLink Field is located right next to downtown, and is home of the twelfth man...

KC has the great stuff to do plus the Chiefs have one of the best football atmospheres in the league.
Atlanta isn't a bad sports town, the Braves have been one of the most dominant teams in the Wild Card Era.

Agreed...Atlanta is a pretty decent sports town. Just because we haven't won many championships doesn't make it "bad". The teams get great support and are pretty popular throughout the entire state and region.

The OP wasn't about what a city offers to a football fan, although the Falcons atmosphere does not align with your perception of it. You obviously don't know and are going by something you've heard. If you haven't been to a Falcons game then you really shouldn't speak as if you have. I have been to many Falcons games and the fans, venue, noise, and quality of the experience are top-notch. We also have more than just football to offer as a sports town...what else does Green Bay have?

Besides your misconception of the NFL atmosphere in Atlanta the thread title is "What NFL teams are located in good cities to visit?", not "What NFL cities have the best football atmosphere?".

Right! I guess most are not aware that New York football teams play in a different state.

East Rutherford has way more things to do than Houston

I hope you're kidding...that's ridiculous.

I'm not sure why anyone would separate East Rutherford from NYC. It's part of the city, like Arlington is part of Dallas or any number of other NFL teams that play in the suburbs of a major city.
