I am a 25 year old male trying to get some opinions on the best city/town to move to (including cities and small towns, not opposed to anything). Just finished college a few years ago and am now trying to decide where the next move is. I'm into sports and outdoor activities and prefer warm weather but would consider anywhere. I've been heavily considering southern California, Portland, Chicago, New York but am still undecided. I'm looking for a vibrant place with a good amount of people aged 21 - 35. Considering money isn't an issue of being a place to move because if I like a place I would be willing to pay for the high cost of living. Can I get some opinions on everyones favorite place?
Ann Arbor, Michigan
Charlotte, North Carolina
Madison, Wisconsin
Milwaukee, Wisconsin (underrated)
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (underrated)
Seattle, Washington
I'd also add Clayton, Missouri to that list....Clayton is to St. Louis what Ann Arbor is to Detroit IMO...
I'd add St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Kansas City to the list as well. Atlanta, NYC, Dallas, and Philly I'd also recommend looking into, as well as Baltimore and D.C.
I'm actually moving from Missouri, used to live in St. Louis. Which is why I'm not really considering Chicago since I used to live in stl. I know chicago is a much better city than stl most would say. But I mean they are both cities in the midwest. I kind of want to get out of the midwest and experience the east or west coasts.
I know what you mean but I'm afraid Austin is getting out of hand. It seems like everyone and their mom is moving to Austin and its getting very overcrowded. Because lets face it, it was never supposed to get that big. But I've thought about it. And theres something about texas I just don't care for, I know Austin is different though.
