Is it Arab, AL? Bonneville or Philadelphia, MS? If you could pick one town or city to represent the deepest depths of the Deep South, which would it be?

It certainly isn't Arab, AL. which is 98% white. Philidelphia is unique because it is influenced by the Choctaw tribe located nearby.

I'm going to go with Yazoo City, MS. but it is delta south. Natchez, MS would be my other option in Mississippi.

In Alabama, I'd go with Selma, Montgomery or any other blackbelt city.

The Black Belt and the Deep South aren't interchangeable.

When it comes to metropolis I'd say Jackson, MS, but I'm sure there are too many small towns to name that better exemplify the deep south.
