For those of you who have relocated from your home state (or one area) to another, do you still check up on the state and local news?
Even after I relocated from the Hartford area to NYC, and now Fairfield County, CT, I find myself still checking up on the news from my original metro area. It seems odd to continue doing it, but for some reason it still feels like the only real news that matters to me. Why do I do it though?
I mean, hypothetically, if someone wants to relocate, shouldn't they stop caring about what's happening in their original/home state or area?
