You're watching the nightly news, and instead of focusing on the shooting du jour you find yourself looking at the architecture of Colorado Springs or the city design of Omaha.

You know how the news stations now start stories by zooming in on a satellite photo? The stories about Omaha zoomed in on the google maps, shows the surrounding area and then zooming in on the mall. I thought it was interesting to see the satellite image of the surrounding area. (Call me jaded, but I'm not otherwise interested in stories about self-pitying morons who feel they need to shoot a bunch of people because--boo hoo hoo--I lost my job at McDonalds and girls don't like me.)
