^^^I was just about to post that response. My vote is going to Cincinnati, Providence, Milwaukee, and Chattanooga...but Columbus has really done a beautiful job with the Scioto Riverfront. The new bridges are beautiful too.
One not yet mentioned is Spokane. From the lower falls to the Gonzaga Univ. campus is a great stretch of urban riverfront. Riverfront Park, the site of '74 World's Fair, surrounds Spokane Falls and the Spokane River.
Since when? Not when I lived there. It's a great city but it's certainly not known for its riverfront, and rightfully so.
I haven't a clue whether you're right or not. I just wanted to say what a rare pleasure it is seeing its and it's used correctly, in the same sentence, no less.
