When it comes to horns tooting, L. A., as well as California, have the most horns. As far as deifying New York, that practice belongs to the states nearest it. Hard-ons aside, here's a mirror.

That's good. I started saying somethng like that outside this site - "New York City doesn't need boosting... The facts say it all." Simple, but true.

As for the person who said New Yorkers bash LA and Chicago… You’re wrong. We love Chicago.

I've found most people are proud of their homestate or city, and like to talk about it.

But the prize-du-jour goes to...TEXAS.

These folks just go on and on and ON about their state, to the point you're thinking, "ok, OK, now will you please just talk about something else!!!"

I agree with Texas....especially the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

For Upstate NY- definitely Rochester.

Honestly, if you like NYC, it's almost like you have no excuse NOT to like Chicago, and vice versa. They are very similar, IMHO.

I agree with Tim Rankin--any native Texan! There is also a certain kind of New Yorker who will never leave NYC, because they think it's the greatest place on Earth. I wouldn't put California on that list--too many people leaving that state who complain about the high cost of living, traffic, population density, shallow celebrity wannabes, liberals, illegals, yada, yada, yada.
