Ok so I don't really have too many caveats, I'm pretty open to almost anywhere in the country. One thing I do hate is extreme heat and humidity. I like mountains too. Don't want to live somewhere TOO crowded like NYC but I think I might want 4 seasons. Help...
No to little heat and humidity (some instances of hot weather in July and August), mountains, four seasons, not overcrowded...

Just to add to this list, Albany, Glens Falls and Plattsburgh in NY, Pittsfield MA, Scranton PA, Charleston WV and any of the cities along the I-81 corridor from Western MD to SW VA.
Some hospital nurses are traveling nurses that spent a few months in one location before moving on to the next assignment. I don't know what kind of background is required for that. They may not take people just out of nursing school but since I don't know, I thought I would throw it out there for you to look into. As a travel nurse, you could sample different areas until you found a place that is a great fit or you.
Most hospitals and traveling RN agencies require at least one year of experience before assignment, so keep that in mind if you consider the travel RN route.
As an RN starting out, think less of what the scenery may look like and get a few years in a teaching hospital. Its the best thing you can do for your career right out the gate. Make the move to your dream location once you are more marketable.
Not a lot of nursing jobs in Boulder, CO. You could live in Boulder and work in Denver, however. Denver has the big teaching hospitals and the most nursing jobs in the state.
Try the Veterans Administration hospitals. Congress today voted them a big budget. Once you're in, you can transfer to any state.
