Makes me think of chicken boxes and half and halfs. Fried chicken and crabcakes are to Baltimore what cheesesteaks and soft pretzels are to Philly.

Pusha T only sounds southern when he speaks. When he says "wasn't," it sounds like "won't." Timbaland, who's from HR, can't be mistaken for anything other than southern.

Very True. I thought French Montana was from Houston, J Cole doesn't sound like he's from NC.

So...Maryland is the South. The fact that transplants want to believe they're not in the South because they don't go to Chruch or because they vote Democrat and consider themselves "educated" no more makes Maryland the Northeast than Charlotte, NC a Northern city because it shares the same traits.

Maryland is Northeastern? I don't know of a Northeasterner that calls it "Merland".
Bwahahaha! Maryland and Charlotte, NC have nothing in common, nothing lol i'm tickled right now!

You mean how both MD and Charlotte have many transplants, a deteriorating accent, and lean Democratic? I think that makes them similar.

Lol you know what's funny, it's like the OP finally fooled you all into pretty much determining where the ending point of the "Northeast" or least the cooridor ends, based on your back and forth arguing. No where did the OP insinuate that Maryland should be considered here, yet this entire thread has been turned into another Maryland vs south/NE thread. You people can be so naive without even knowing sometimes, meanwhile let the poll do the talking. By the looks of it you guys have answered your own questions. lol
