Least Favorite - Baltimore: crime and horridly ugly industrial areas
wow, have you been to Baltimore recently?
and i didn't know we were discussing industrial areas that can hardly be considered the city
and have you had a run in with crime in Baltimore? if not you can't really speak
nancy thereader, no its not. i put it under southwest because the original poster gave only those areas of the country so i grouped CA with the southwest,

I know you've never been to the Rocky Mountain states, but I don't blame you for choosing Boulder as your least favorite. I find it very phony, personally-- not really my kind of town, even though many of my friends go to CU, and I almost went there. Although if you're a liberal and/or environmentalist, you would probably enjoy the political climate in Boulder. OTOH, I'm surprised you chose SLC as your favorite mountain west city. I might be wrong, but I think you would be bored out of your brains there! Salt Lake is probably the most boring, sedate, culturally homogenous big city in America. The mountains there are incredible, no doubt, and you're right up to them, but the city and the scenery are two different things. I bet you would like Denver much more (the actual city of Denver, not the suburbs), as far as big cities go.

Only cities I've been to are DC, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando. Sorta neutral on all of them

FAV: Chicago
I only did cities I have been to. I guess If I just based it on stuff I've heard it would be more interesting. Really, Spokane and SLC are the only cities I've been to that I dislike. I mean, that are worth mentioning. Artesia, NM is AWFUL but it isn't a city.
