Very strange. It's like he pronounces nearly every vowel different from the U.S. standard.

I'm not quite sure what I'd say it was. Honestly it sounds like a cross between a Philly and Southern accent. Reminds me of my great aunt, who's from Alabama but has lived in Philadelphia for 40 years.

Sounds a bit southern but definitely not entirely. Odd. I got a southern influence more than anything.
