Bellaire HS:

White: 43%
Hispanic: 28%
Asian: 17%
Black: 13%

There's also a large Jewish community, and you can hear a ton of languages. Not all whites are American, not all hispanics are Mexican, and not all Asians are from the East.

Bellaire was ranked in the top 100 public high schools on Newsweek.

Columbus Alternative High School in Columbus OH

The school is a magnet school that you enter by lottery. It is nearly even black and white and has test scores that are better than some suburbs. Also, the school ranks in the top 200 best schools by U.S. weekly every time. Gangs do exist in many Columbus schools, as it is a big city that has many big city problems in the city schools, but Columbus Alternative High School tends to avoid the "bad kids" by being a locally funded city lottery school

The OP wants absolutely No hint of gang activity, so none of these schools will probably fit the bill. S/he also wants an average score of 60 on the state exams, which is meaningless b/c every state is different and every state has a different passing score.

Those are just the demographics from the city of Bellaire. The area around it in Houston is more diverse.

In response to estudiante, of course there are gangs in Houston, as there are everywhere else; I'm just suggesting what, limited to my knowledge, closest meets the request of the OP. It's silly to think that there are actually diverse, cosmopolitan areas without traces of gangs to follow (or to think of /any/ place without any trace of gangs).
