Pretty much anywhere in the Midwest, Mountain West, and Mid-Atlantic and New England is fair game for this question.

Why mid Atlantic or New England? The areas on the coast (both Western and Eastern) have much less temp differences compared to continental climate. The exceptions may be mountainous areas and other areas with micro climates.

For example, New York City:

Hottest month avg high: 83
Coldest month avg high: 36

Difference: 47

Now compare that to any non-coastal city, here is Memphis, TN I chose at random:

Hottest month avg high: 92
Coldest month avg high: 50

Difference: 52

Difference 11.7 degrees

Honolulu
August 88.7F
January 80.1F
Difference 8.6 degrees

Hilo
September 83.3F
February 78.8F
difference 4.5 degrees
