Ohio. Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, and Columbus all have metro park systems. When the money was around, there were individuals with vision that created these public spaces. For the size of city, Youngstown has the best. The urban park system can even be found in neighboring Sharon, PA.

Louisville and Cincinnati are outstanding. The poorest halves of either city has more large parks that the cities of Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta combined

In addition to all the city parks, Denver has a mountain park system that's roughly the size of Manhattan. The city owns Red Rocks, Winter Park Ski Area, and the summit of Mount Evans along with a handful of other mountain attractions.

Yes Central Park always gets Top billing. Very European feel. Golden Gate Park with its vistas of the famous bridge. But as in another thread I posted ...CHICAGO...has great parks, especially its downtown and north shore. These pictures show Grand Park and its new addition of Millennium Park, that tourist and locals love. They are as the front lawn to the Palace. The Palace the Cities Skyline before it. Also Lincoln Park north of downtown.

..........................CHICAGO'S..........................

....Grant Park⤵ . Millennium Park⤵.. Lincoln Park

Yet none of the parks are on the level of Piedmont Park in Atlanta.
