Nothing ridiculous about it. Only thing that is up for debate is the notion of "most gay intolerant". The part about Blacks not supporting all aspects of what the USA calls liberalism is 100% on the money. Most Blacks in the USA resent the Gay Rights movement using the Civil Rights movement in all their arguments. We also don't particularly like being lumped in with everybody under the Democratic Party's liberal umbrella.
Every knows this the Deep South has always had the states with the highest black population. Why does it even matter? We have very few blacks where I live in Kentucky but I get along with almost all of them I still don't see why any of this matters.

How much does any topic here really matter? It's just something to discuss.
25*4 is 100. It isn't that incorrect. In my family slavery was indeed only four generations ago.
Isn't that incorrect is still incorrect. While I'm not arguing that for certain people it was only a few generations back, the poster was arguing that 90 percent have slaves within 3-4 generations.
I would argue that most are closer 7-8 generations, which is a very significant difference.

If you are in your 30's within 5 generations, if not 4, is very real. This doesn't even get into the question of what is considered slavery(i.e.- "share cropping" and don't get me started on the 13th Amendment).
As for the original question, it is a matter of knowing history, really.

And that would be as much of a stretch as his assertion. You have to remember that not all blacks are young people, and we're not all having babies by age 18.
So! Don't expect that to change either. Somebody has to be normal in this wicked world, so it might as well be us.
Who the f**k is "us"? I support equal rights for gays like many other African Americans. Save that homophobic **** for yourself.
