I like cities that have a lot do, particularly in regards to the arts, but have a no b.s., down-to-earth attitude:
Minneapolis
Louisville
Buffalo
Pittsburgh
Milwaukee
Favorite cities for a weekend trip (gorge myself on great food, listen to great music, see some cool exhibits), but I wouldn't want to live:
Chicago
San Francisco
Los Angeles
Philadelphia
New York

Least favorites, in no particular order, just because I feel like it :
- San Francisco: Beautiful city, with an incredibly arrogant populace!

- Louisville, KY: Surprisingly unfriendly
- Dayton, OH
- Sacramento
- Atlanta (honorable mention)
