“Everyone I have met from Kentucky has destroyed my stereotypes of it.”
“I will never be able to pronounce ‘Louisville.’”

“Everyone in Louisiana seems to have way more fun than me.” - Yes
“Every railroad starts in Pennsylvania.”
“If I had to build a railroad, I would feel super confident in hiring someone from Pennsylvania.”
“Pennsylvanians like to deck out their basements and get drunk in them.”
“Yuengling is their tap water.”
haha considering I have mentioned 3 out 4 of these on this site recently maybe they are kinda right.
This is Buzzfeed... It's supposed to be for kicks. And this one is clearly full of jokes based on stereotypes. Take it for what it is. It's kind of funny.
I thought this article was pretty funny myself. It's not meant to be taken seriously - nor is it meant to be accurate.
Though...it made some good points...
Quote:
“Texas is literally its own country.”
“Everyone in Texas loves being from Texas.”
“Every single person has their own brand of sauce.”
“Everyone in Texas has won a fist fight.”
“…That they started.”
“The only thing they’re afraid of is snow.”
I'd say this is pretty close to the truth, especially that last sentence - in east Texas anyway.
"OMG there is a 20 percent chance of 1/4 an inch of frozen precipitation! MUST. RUSH. TO. STORE. AND. BUY. ALL. TOILET PAPER. MILK. EGGS. GAS. How do I start up that generator again? Better get out the wool socks so the kids can use them for gloves. They're going to need them when they try to scrape the quarter inch of ice off the lawn and make the world's most pathetic snowman, 8 inches tall with grass and mud all over him, that I'm going to put on Facebook! OMG where is that thing you use to scrape the windshield? I haven't seen that in four or five years! DO I EVEN OWN A SNOW SHOVEL? Everybody in the truck - we're going to Lowes to buy snow shovels! Lord help us. PRAY FOR RAIN. PLEASE LORD LET IT STAY ABOVE 32 DEGREES or whatever godawful temperature things freeze at - I can't remember that exact figure. I don't have a coat! And where's my scarf that my grandmother crocheted for me fifteen years ago? I hope we survive. Lord help us all."
"People in New Jersey get super angry when you say bad things about New Jersey."
"They're always a five-minute walk from a strip mall."
"It's the only state where people still buy hair gel."
"Every single person owns a shirt that says 'ITALIA' on it."
"Everyone who lives there can name all the strip clubs in New Jersey, even if they've never gone to them."
"They love diners. And Medieval Times."
"They're also a lot nicer than they're given credit for."
I actually like this. Not the strip club thing though - I'm a bit confused by that one. Clearly I hang out with a very different crowd than whoever wrote that one...
