Boston blows every other city out of the water when it comes to professional sports.
Well LA is the Olympian capital of the U.S. The Geography of Team USA - CityLab

Plus we hosted two summer Olympics, which only a few cities in the world have done. No football teams though, but that's okay.

The EU's de facto capital is Brussels, which hosts the headquarters of several EU institutions and NATO. Multiple institutions are within hours reach such as The Hague or Strasbourg. But I doubt anyone would say Brussels reach is more greater than London or Paris (or even countries like Switzerland and Germany).

I apply the same principle to Washington, in that it's power is minute once one of the houses moves out of the city.

Los Angeles has nothing more than Hollywood and a few beaches, and only when you combine it with San Francisco does it start to rival some of the mid-sized European capitals (Barcelona, Madrid, Brussels).

The only true capital in the USA, which can compete with the likes of London or Paris, is New York.
Dude, youre wack. The only city in Europe with the equivalent or more of cultural clout as LA is Paris. Maybe Milan as a second. As for tech, no metro in the world comes close to the Bay Area.

You can try to deny this, but Philadelphia is undisputedly the food capital of the U.S.

The United States has 51 capitals: 50 state capitals plus DC

If you want to add overseas territories, you can.

I think Philadelphia is a cool city; only been there once. But all of these "Phillly booster" threads that have popped up over the past few days are growing tiresome.

If I had to guess; I'd say this is someone who has a beef with Philly and is trying to make other people dislike it. Such strange things people do on the internet.
