Most of Connecticut is in the NYC metro area. In fact many of the most famous suburbs of NYC, and most important suburban business centers, are in Connecticut.
The vast majority of CT residents do not live in the area of CT that feels like NYC, which is a small portion of the state.
This is incorrect. Approximately 50% of CT residents live in metro New York City.

Actually most CT residents live in the NYC metro. Connecticut is extremely tied to NYC, especially the wealth centers along the coast. Fairfield County is the state's economic engine.
if they had a list for the west coasters, it wouldn't fit on the internet.
Seattle folks, especially. Although, they aren't that different from New Englanders; it's weird seeing Yankee flaws on West Coasters.
