Aside from NYC, would you say any American city is more urban than Dublin, Ireland? Chicago? San Francisco?

More urban than:
New York
Chicago
Philadelphia
Boston
San Francisco

Near the same:
Baltimore
Seattle
Pittsburgh
St. Louis
New Orleans

Way larger, but not more urban outside of CBD:
Los Angeles
Miami
Minneapolis

Just a few examples off the top of my head.

Thanks for the reply. I honestly don't think the "near the same" cities you listed have nearly the same caliber urban fabric as Dublin, especially outside the CBD. I honestly think NYC, SF, and maybe Chicago are the only ones more urban, and I'd probably put Dublin on par with Boston and Philadelphia.

You forgot to put Washington, D.C. I would say it's more urban than DUB.

It's going to be tough to top the population density of Dublin.

It's always Dublin!

I remember going. To Dublin, to me only a few cities seem denser. It is an average of 12k per mile in Dublin.

Why would you want to know Dublins population density to American cities? Strange post ( try crime figures)

How does that have anything to do with being more urban. Crime isn't a factor in this.
