IMO, CA. If you want anything in CA, you can have it, as long as it aligns with leftist views.
I disagree. As I stated before, once you are not in L.A, or SF, CA is not a leftist state. The Inland Empire and especially the entire desert region of southern CA are much more right-wing.
Try going to a place like Barstow, or Victorville, or Bakersfield, and asking for stricter gun control and watch what sort of reaction you get. Those 3 cities make up roughly about 500k people, and also the largest county in CA ( San Bernardino County ) as a whole, which also includes major cities within that Inland Empire of Riverside and San Bernardino, Ontario, etc is never overwhelmingly democratic in the election cycles; even despite some heavy Hispanic population numbers there.

Denver should be up there. The state of Colorado as a whole is pretty damn conservative, but the Denver/Boulder area is about as liberal as you can get.
With much of the Northeast: There is a difference between democratic party dominance and being "Left Wing". There is a lot of variation in the democratic party itself.

I'd say it's the same in California, Oregon, etc. too.
Every area has a mixture of these types even New England. Though New England for the most part, and the coastal West Coast . Perhaps parts of the Midwest, would be my pick on this subject. However my view is many states/regions in this country, have no business all being in the same country. It just doesn't work anymore and hasn't for quite some time now. The divide in this country has gone beyond concerning. I think it is destroying us as a society, and will continue to do so unless corrected. This left wing right wing business, and the cultures that divide us are definitely the reason.
I don't know, I consider the cities to be under consideration. HWY 80 is as good a line as any. If using full-state blocks, I'd go MN/WI/MI (many would add plains state like ND/SD), but I think that leaves out a good number of legit Upper Midwestern places.
