Hello, I currently live in a large Northeastern city (not NY) and I lost the lottery and am still single at 35. I wanted love and children and all that but am too old at this point bc of how much time it takes to go through the pre-babies rituals. I am looking to relocate somewhere where I can avoid the constant bombardment of love, couples, weddings, the dating scene, etc. Somewhere where it wouldn't be unusual to still have a non-smartphone and not be on social media, and somewhere without a lot of young couples. So, in other words, somewhere probably pretty country, and hopefully in warm weather. The thing is, I have a communications degree that I need to be able to use to make a living - journalism, marketing, public relations etc. I am also a fitness instructor. I need to be able to make money doing one or both of those things.

I tried researching various cities in Louisiana and it didn't seem to be much in the way of work. I also eat healthy, organic etc so would need something with a Whole Foods/Trader Joes or food co-op within at least once a week driving distance.

Is there anyone in Louisiana who can shed more light on whether there might be an area there that would meet all these qualifications? Also considering states like Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee or Missouri.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

If someone could help I would really appreciate it. Looking to arrange this before Labor Day and give my 2 weeks at work. I have to coordinate it with the ending of my lease here, so it is very time-sensitive.

St. Louis may not be a bad place to check out. FleishmanHillard is headquartered there, Weber Shandwick has a branch, and there are a lot of other PR and marketing agencies.
Also it's pretty affordable, and one out of five people are in their twenties.
