Can you tell that in where location you will be find in us . i am living in Alabama . according to me its was very nice place for you according to your research .
Definitely not Seattle. You'll be shunned and/or bullied, unless you're very introverted and quiet. People are very insular there, even the transplants.
I'd advise against Portland too. The older locals are very friendly, but young people there are very cliquey and the singles scene is dead. Also, everyone and their cat is a musician so you can easily get a band but you end up playing shows with about 3 people in the audience because there are ten other shows and ten DJ sets happening that same night.
Seattle - More expensive, easiest to live without a car, all the benefits of a huge metro, quite isolated from the rest of the US.
Basically like the bay area. You can live car-free in SF but if you plan on going to weekend trips at Sacramento or Lake Tahoe, you'll need a car.
